Activist Hub serves as a multifaceted tool that not only connects activists with local groups and organizations but also provides a comprehensive dashboard to track and measure their impact. From inspiring individuals to watch documentaries to encouraging them to take vegan challenges, the platform offers a range of features aimed at catalyzing positive change.
• Profile Customization: I contributed to the implementation of robust profile customization features, empowering volunteers to showcase their skills and interests effectively. This allowed for tailored connections between volunteers and organizations, optimizing the matching process and enhancing the overall user experience.
• Responsive Design: Recognizing the importance of accessibility across devices, I prioritized the development of a responsive design framework for Activist Hub. By ensuring seamless interactions and visual consistency across various platforms, we facilitated greater engagement and participation from users, regardless of their device preferences.
• Accessibility Audit: I performed an accessibility audit on the live website to identify any areas of WCAG non-compliance. If colors turned out to be not accessible levels of contrast, I worked with designers to create an alternative shade that did pass. I also checked ran the site through tools such as WAVE and tested it with a screen reader.

The combined efforts of the design team resulted in a visually captivating and user-friendly platform that has reached over 4,000 activists and 1,700 activist groups. Users have praised the beautiful illustrations, intuitive interface, and seamless navigation, which have all contributed to increased user engagement and participation in vegan activism.
Today for Animals stands as proof to the power of design in driving user engagement and participation in social causes. By leveraging thoughtful design principles and creative collaboration, Vegan Hacktivists created a platform that not only motivates individuals to take action for animal welfare but also fosters a sense of community and collective impact within the vegan movement.
